Academic Facilities
CIMC provides a magnificent and comprehensive range of facilities within the college campus to expand the knowledge and learning of the students. Authority believes that an eminent, representative, and ideal academic environment is essential for the overall growth of a student. Along with the experienced faculty, the college with admirable infrastructure that not only well accommodates the students but also adds a new dimension to their learning. All modern amenities at every level are available to make learning a hassle-free experience for the students.
Labs and Museums
CIMC has advanced and modernized laboratory facilities for all levels:
- Phase-I: Anatomy Dissection Hall and Museum, Physiology Lab, and Biochemistry Lab
- Phase II: Forensic Medicine Museum and Pharmacology Lab.
- Phase III: Community Medicine Museum, Pathology Lab, Microbiology Lab, Histopathology, and Cytology Lab.
- Phase IV: CIMC’s teaching hospital has 500 beds and is equipped with all modernized equipment and facilities and varieties of profiles of cases are admitted here in all disciplines. The hospital has a skills lab for the skills development of trainee doctors, nurses, and students also.
Library
We have a flourishing, wide, and air-conditioned library. We have sufficient books Local and International journals are available. More than 200 students can read there at a time.
Bangabandhu Corner and Muktijoddha Corner are also in the CIMC library. The library has a Digital Corner where HINARI, e-books, and e-journals are available. Xerox and internet facilities are also included.
Here it is open from 8 AM to 10 PM.
Classrooms and Lecture Hall
CIMC has classrooms of various sizes. Smaller classrooms are used for the purpose of tutorial and practical classes, small group teaching etc. Each class room is equipped with multimedia projectors, overhead projectors and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Medical Skill Center / Skill Lab
There is a Medical Skill Center in academic building. Students and faculty members can use the Skill lab and Skill center to practice and enhance their technical skills there.
Accommodation Facilities
CIMC has hostel facilities for female students. The hostels have common dining area; TV room and Indoor games facilities, with provisions for playing table tennis, carom, Ludo and chess. The hostels also have separate reading room and prayer room.
Common Rooms
There are separate common rooms for male and female students with provision for indoor games such as carom and chess and sufficient seats where students can lounge around and enjoy their leisure period.
Post-Graduate Training Programs
CIMC has post-graduate training facilities for Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Gynecology & Obstetrics, ENT, Anesthesiology, and Dermatology disciplines which are recognized by Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). After completing the undergraduate course, interested doctors can complete post-graduate training in FCPS specialized fields.
Broad Band Internet and Wi-Fi
Whole CIMC campus and hospital is covered with broad band internet and Wi-Fi internet access.
